(Philippi {Krumweide}, 1887)Range of Chilean angelshark (in blue) The Chilean angelshark, Squatina armata, is an angel shark of the family Squatinidae found in the subtropical waters of Chile. Its length is up to 1.03 m, although the holotype is lost.
Reproduction is ovoviviparous.
