alga l-covered areas andeelgrass flats. It feeds on small fishes and probablycrustacean s and otherbenthic invertebrates . Often solitary, though some may cluster in resting areas on the bottom. The meat is regarded as of inferior quality. Reproduction isovoviviparous , with 10 to 20 pups in a litter.References
