Its maximum length is more than 26 cm, but an adult has yet to be measured.The lined lanternshark has a long tail and conspicuous longitudinal rows of
denticle s on the head, sides, and back, to thecaudal fin base. Thegill openings are very short.Coloration is dark sooty-grey, with a black underside, and a lighter band on the midline from the eye to the first
dorsal fin .Reproduction is presumed to be
