pelvic fin base shorter than 3/5 of theanal fin base length. Thepectoral fin tip reaches beyond the midpoint between the pectoral and pelvic fins. The firstdorsal fin is smaller in area than the second. Theanal fin is low with a long base.Coloration is black, brown or grey, without conspicuous markings on fins.
