Conejos is a census-designated place[3], a U.S. Post Office, and the county seat of Conejos County, Colorado, United States.[4] Conejos has the distinction of being the only unincorporated county seat in the State of Colorado. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP had a population of 58.[5] The community is located in the San Luis Valley. Conejos is a historic site of Spanish colonization.
