Maizefield is a historic home located at Red Hook in Dutchess County, New York. It is a plain brick building, three stories tall, five bays wide and four bays deep in the Neoclassical style. It features an elaborately designed front entry door on the first floor and a Palladian window on the second floor. The house was once occupied by General David Van Ness (1745-1818), who sold it in 1815. Also on the property is a two story, hipped roof board and batten cottage with a two story portico designed by noted architect Alexander Jackson Davis.[2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.[1]
