NH 85 NH 86A

National Highways 86 (NH 86), commonly referred as Hamirpur Road is a National Highway in India that connects Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh with Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. The total length of NH86 runs to 674 km (419 mi)[1] Starting from NH 3 in Dewas it runs northwards and ends at Kanpur at NH 2.

Route

Uttar Pradesh: Mahoba, Kabrai, Maudaha, Bharuwa, Hamirpur, Ghatampur and Kanpur.[2]

Madhya Pradesh: Dewas, Ashta, Sehore, Bhopal, Raisen, Sanchi, Vidisha, Gyarspur, Rahtgarh, Sagar, Karapur, Banda, Dalpatpur, Shahgarh, Hirapur, Dargawan, Gulganj, Chhatarpur and Malhara.

Length

In Kanpur it covers 25 km then it reaches Ghatampur where it covers 7 km and then it reaches Mahoba whre it covers 6 km. In Mahoba the road is full of plateaus and small mountains.
