- Mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains
-
Main article: Rocky MountainsSee also: Mountain peaks of North America
This article comprises three sortable tables of major mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains of North America.
Topographic elevation is the vertical distance above the reference geoid, a precise mathematical model of the Earth's sea level as an equipotential gravitational surface. Topographic prominence is the elevation difference between the summit and the highest or key col to a higher summit. Topographic isolation is the minimum great circle distance to a point of higher elevation.
This article defines a significant summit as a summit with at least 100 meters (328.1 feet) of topographic prominence, and a major summit as a summit with at least 500 meters (1640.4 feet) of topographic prominence. An ultra-prominent summit is a summit with at least 1500 meters (4921.3 feet) of topographic prominence.

Highest major summits
The following sortable table lists the 100 highest major mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains with a topographic prominence of at least 500 meters (1640.4 feet).[1] Topographic elevation is defined as the vertical distance above the reference geoid, a precise mathematical model of the Earth's sea level as an equipotential gravitational surface. A total of 78 of these highest peaks are located in Colorado, 10 in Wyoming, 5 in New Mexico, 3 in Montana, 2 in Utah, and 1 each in British Columbia and Idaho.
The first 64 of these Rocky Mountain summits have at least 4000 meters (13123.4 feet) of topographic elevation and at least 500 meters (1640.4 feet) of topographic prominence.

11 miMost prominent summits
The following sortable table lists the 100 most topographically prominent mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Topographic prominence is defined as the elevation difference between the summit and the highest or key col to a higher summit. A total of 32 of these 100 most prominent peaks are located in Montana, 15 in British Columbia, 15 in Idaho, 13 in Colorado, 10 in Alberta, 10 in Utah, 6 in Wyoming, and 2 in New Mexico.
The first 37 of these Rocky Mountain summits qualify as ultra-prominent peaks, summits with at least 1500 meters (4921.3 feet) of topographic prominence.

36 miMost isolated major summits
The following sortable table lists the 100 most topographically isolated major mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains with a topographic prominence of at least 500 meters (1640.4 feet). Topographic isolation is the minimum great circle distance to a point of higher elevation. A total of 29 of these most isolated peaks are located in Montana, 23 in Colorado, 13 in Wyoming, 12 in Idaho, 11 in British Columbia, 8 in Utah, 5 in Alberta, and 2 in New Mexico.
The first 25 of these Rocky Mountain summits have at least 100 kilometers (62.14 miles) of topographic isolation and at least 500 meters (1640.4 feet) of topographic prominence.
