Most prominent mountain peaks of the United States

The following sortable table lists the 100 most topographically prominent mountain peaks of the United States. Topographic prominence is the elevation difference between the summit and the highest or key col to a higher summit. A total of 52 of these most prominent peaks are located in Alaska, 7 in California, 7 in Nevada, 6 in Utah, 5 in Washington, 4 in Hawaiʻi, 4 in Oregon, 3 in Wyoming, 3 in Montana, 2 in Colorado, 2 in Arizona, 2 in Idaho, and 1 each in New Hampshire, North Carolina, and New Mexico.
