- Spanish Peaks
The Spanish Peaks are a pair of volcanic mountains in the southeastern part of the
US State ofColorado . They lie in theSangre de Cristo Mountains as an eastern outlier of the otherwise non-volcanicCulebra Range . They were an important landmark on theSanta Fe Trail .For more details, see:
