New Barrackpur (also spelt New Barrackpore) (Bengali: নিউ ব্যারাকপুর) is a town and a municipality under Ghola police station of Barrackpore subdivision.[2] in North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

Geography

New Barrackpore is 17 km from Sealdah Station on the Sealdah-Bangaon branch line of Eastern Railway.[3] It is part of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system. Jessore road is the nearest main road from New Barrackpore (Bus stop-B.T.College bus stop). New Barrackpore is 22 km from Sealdah by road. Netaji Subhash International Airport is 10 minutes by car. Demographics
