History
The airline was established in 1992 and started operations in April 1992. In December 2000 LAN Airlines purchased a 25% stake in MasAir, which has since increased. It is owned by LAN (39.5%) and Promotoro Aérea Latinoamericana and has 182 employees (at March 2007).[1]
Fleet
The MasAir fleet consists of the following aircraft (as of December 2010) [2]:
- 3 Boeing 767-300ERF, N314LA, N420LA and N526LA.
As of February 2010, the average age of the MasAir fleet is 5.7 years [3].
