Trivia
- Previous to the calling of the Top 10, Angela Visser, Miss Universe 1989, was asked by Leeza Gibbons who she thought might enter the Top 10, she named Miss Curaçao, Miss USSR, Miss Ireland and Miss Netherlands (missing just one, Miss Ireland). Then later, after the Top 6 was chosen, Leeza asked Angela who she believes "was doing good in fast feet" in the competition, and Angela -in a very prophetic way- said Miss Mexico, Miss USSR and Miss Netherlands. Then, after the Top 6 question, Leeza asked Angela about who she thought the TOP 3 would be and Angela -having a hard time thinking on the answer- said Miss USSR, Miss Mexico and Miss Netherlands; when the Top 3 was called Leeza said "You were right again!" to a stunned Angela that was only able to sttuter "Yes, I, I... Well, yes!", not believing herself for the prediction.
