The Security Information Service (SIS) (Czech: Bezpečnostní informační služba (BIS)), is the primary domestic national intelligence agency of the Czech Republic. It performs duties associated with the analysis, protection and legitimate use of strategically important intelligence regarding the fields of politics, economics and intelligence within the territory of the Czech Republic. Legitimate use is understood to mean the transfer of intelligence to the relevant departments of the government of the Czech Republic.

The SIS controls and takes active measures in the fields of:

• the actions of foreign intelligence services/agents on the territory of the CR,
• the actions of extremist and illegal organizations,
• the actions of terrorist organizations or individuals,
• illegal activities in the Economic and industrial zones.
