Chinnaganjam is a village and a Mandal in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

Chinnaganjam is located at 15°42′N 80°15′E / 15.7°N 80.25°E / 15.7; 80.25.[2]. Chinnaganjam (Telugu: చిన్నగంజాం) is a large Village, mandal located in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a population of 18,358 (2001 census). The village is situated at a distance of 120 km south of Vijayawada. Old name for Chinnaganjam was పురుషోత్తమ పురం (Purushothama Puram). This village is the major hub for aqua and salt business in the district of Prakasam. Chinnaganjam is the biggest village between Chirala and Ongole and lies on the main railway line between Chennai and Kolkata.
