Kandukur is a town, mandal and a municipality in Prakasam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Kandukur has a historic back ground . Skandapuri which was an area ruled during srikrishna devaraya period was renamed as kandukur.It is now one of the fastest developing towns in the state. Kandukur has a very big Govt. Arts & Science college named Tikkavarapu RamiReddy (TRR) Govt College. In the era of 100 acres. two engineering colleges were established in and near by the town.
