Kunchepalli is a village located at Podili mandal in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

History

Kunchepalli is the one of the village in Podili mandal, people will give more importance for studies. In my mandal no 1 village in studies.

Education

* Even people are depending on agriculture, parents are encouraging their children for higher education even to girls also. Earlier people did B.Ed. In these year girls/boys are interesting in MCA,B.Tech, Pharmacy, MBA and IIT. Some are studied in USA,UK also. Many of the young people settled in good MNC software companies and more are settled as teachers. In this year many of the girls and boys are doing their MCA, B.Tech. some of the people worked in abrod also.

* Definitely Kunchepalli is growing in Education. And best village in surrounding mandals

Agriculture

Main crops are daal, paddy. Milk is good business for people.

Temples / Festivals

There are two Rama temples in village and one Rama temple in Nadimpalli. Every year people celebrate srirama navami well. There is Anjaneya swamy temple just beside of Musi river which is flowing across kunchepalli and connecting to Bangalakatam. Every year next day of the sri rama navami around 20 villages surrounding people will celebrate very grandly. All people do pongal at swamy sannidanam in day and celebrate night by arranging Electric prabhas, colatas, bhajanas. Around 1 lack people participate in this vutsav. People called this vutsav as Musi tirunala, Anjaneya swamy tirunala.We never missed this tirunala.

* Kunchepalli has a Union Bank of India; it has nearly 20 years old. All surround the villages are using this bank service. Farmers and business people are using this bank service.

* In this Kunchepalli, NAP water is available 24/7 hr. All near villages are using the pump house service. For every street one tap was arranged.

* It has small Government medication service is available and RMP doctors are available at any time. The RMP doctors are provided excellent service to the people at home. The RMP doctors are rotating in the village at least once in a day.
