municipality inEast Godavari district in theIndia n state ofAndhra Pradesh .Tuni is a marketing centre for more than forty surrounding villages. Sunday is (Santha)market fare day. Known for mangoes export,nearly 250 varieties of mangoes are available here and are also exported .It is also famous for the betel leaves grown in and around the place. A light house for ships in coastal village Penthakota is 11.5 km.away . The district head quarters, Kakinada is 64 km to south.

Close to Tuni is Talupulama Lova which is a famous Valley, the Hills (Enugu Konda) and the River Tandava.its about 12km from the shore,and 18km from annavaram,its been a very importantplace as its been ruled by the rulers of kotaam estate,and are still having there importance in this place,The biggest of the ten forts which has survived the ravages of time is the kottam Fort in which the family of the erstwhile kingdom used to live also belongs to this area which now no more ,but a mini replica is being in use by the same family here. The daughter of the last king of this estate lives there still.
