Piduguralla is located around 70 km from Guntur and 200 km from hyderabad. It is on the guntur-hyderabad and Addanki-hyderabad state highways. The mandal is rich with minerals and also surrounding villages are very green with paddy fields. Most of the people depend on agriculture and the land is very fur tail. water is abandent from the nagarjunasagar right canals. Surrounding villages: Brahmanapalli, janapadu, kamepalli, chennayapalem, agraharam, pillutla, konanki.Piduguralla is well connected by Bus from Guntur, Hyderabad, Narasaraopeta and Macherla. It has a well established bus depot that connects lot of villages around the town.
Rail Transport
Piduguralla was earlier an entirely
meter gauge Station. Trains from Guntur to Macherla used to pass via Piduguralla. Later, Guntur-Nadikudi-Macherla line was converted from Meter Gauge to Broad Gauge underProject Unigauge and a new line was laid from Bibinagar near Hyderabad to Nadikudi. Thus Piduguralla was connected directly to Hyderabad by Broad Gauge Line. Piduguralla is located on the Pagidipalle-Nallapadu section of Guntur(GNT) Division of South Central Railway(SCR).The Station code for Piduguralla is PGRL.
