He is also a very close associate of Andhra Pradesh Ex Chief Minister Mr. N.Chandra Babu Naidu. This is the fastest growing town in kammam district as this town is very reachable to more than 100 villages.

This place is famous for eucalyptus clones which are abundant here and one of the famous eucalyptus clone producers is VANAMALI CLONES, which is situated in Nagupalli village 10 km from Sathupalli. Per year there is a production of 30 lakhs clones which shows the demand for the new way of agriculture in these places because it is very near to the ITC paper factory.Now a days sathupalli centered for educational institutes in khammam dist, a large no'of institutes are here.Two engeneering instistutes,four to five B.Ed collages many inter and degree colloges are there.
