V.R.Kota

V. R. Kota is a one of the major village in Lingasamudram mandal, Prakasam district.AGRICULTURE:It has many green fields and dry fields. It totally depends on agricuture. In recent years some people have migrated to cities and towns to have business of their own.

POLITICS:It is a dominent village for Telugu Desam Party politically.

EDUCATION: There is an elementary School in main village and another one in Harijana Palem. there is a High School. Before 2005 the high school was drastically ruined in education and culture. In 2005 a new headmaster and teaching staff joined the school on transfers. later the schools gained speed in developments and educational standars. It is need of help. It has no primary facilities also ie. no water, no compound wall, no staff room and no waiting room forgirls, no toilets etc., Teachers of that school are very dedicated and now it is in progress. A very popular teacher named N.PERAIAH (ENGLISH) is working in V.R.Kota. He and his colleagues are working hard to improve the standards in educationa nd culture with the help of a nice Headmaster.
