This is a list of NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament bids by school, as of 2011. Schools whose names are italicized are no longer in Division I, and can no longer be included in the tournament.
Note: some schools have NCAA tournament appearances under previous names. For example, UTEP was known as Texas Western when it won its NCAA title in 1966.
Vacated appearances are not included in the totals.
The list is updated through the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.
