Neurocytoma Classification and external resources ICD-O: 9506/1 MeSH D018306 Neurocytoma (or neuroepithelioma) is a type of nervous system tumor which is primarily derived from nervous tissue.[1]
This is in contrast to the gliomas (such as oligodendroglioma), which are derived from glial cells, which are not derived from nervous tissue.
