Chanz, California

Chanz, California

Chanz is a former settlement in Kern County, California.[1] It was located on the stage coach line 37 miles (60 km) north of Mojave.[1]

A post office operated at Chanz from 1906 to 1909.[1] The name honors George A. Chanz, its first postmaster.[1]
