Qamdo County

Qamdo Prefecture (also: Changdu Prefecture) (Tibetan: ཆབ་མདོ་ས་ཁུལ་, Wylie: chab-mdo-sa-khul, ZYPY: Qamdo Sakü; simplified Chinese: 昌都地区; traditional Chinese: 昌都地區; pinyin: Chāngdū Dìqū) is a subnational entity in the eastern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, containing the town of Qamdo. The capital of the prefecture is Qamdo County.
