Shannan Prefecture (bo|t=Lhokha Sakhül, ལྷོ་ཁ་ས་ཁུལ་|w=Lho-kha Sa-khul|lang=yes;
simplified Chinese : 山南地区;pinyin : Shānnán Dìqū) is a prefecture in the Southeastern part of theTibet Autonomous Region . It means 'South of the Mountains' in Chinese.
