Tibet is dominated bysubsistence agriculture . Due to limitedarable land ,livestock raising is the primary occupation mainly on the Tibetan Plateau, among them aresheep ,cattle ,goat s,camel s,yak s,donkey s andhorse s. The main crops grown arebarley ,wheat ,buckwheat ,rye ,potato es,oat s,rapeseed s,cotton and assortedfruit s andvegetable s.
