Ingredients
Clinique make-up consists of ingredients such as: mineral oil, sesame oil, propylene glycol, tea- stearate, glyceryl stearate, lanolin alcohol, petrolatum. Mineral oil helps the skin to hold moisture to provide softer skin. Sesame oil contains antioxidant which is an antibacterial for the skin. Propylene glycol is used commonly used in soaps, and make-up products. Propylene keeps moisture from escaping from the skin. Tea- stearate cleans skin by water mix with dirt or oil that makes it easier to remove make-up. Glyceryl stearate oils the skins surface to prevent loss of water in skin and give a smoother appearance. Lanolin alcohol is a moisturizing substances that gives balance in the blending process. Petrolatum also prevents the loss of water. Petrolatum helps protect skin from harmful stimuli and provides relief.[1]
Testing
Clinique cosmetics are allergy tested before sold on any counter or to consumers. For all new and future cosmetic products during the testing process six hundred people are tested repeatedly.
