Nathaniel B. Palmer House is a historic house in Stonington, Connecticut that was the home of Nathaniel Brown Palmer (1799–1877). Palmer was a seal hunter and a pioneering Antarctic explorer. The house is a transitional style between the Greek revival and the Victorian Italianate.[2] The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1996.[2],[3],[4]
The house is owned by the Stonington Historical Society, and operated as a mid 19th century Victorian historic house museum.
