Delduar (Bengali: দেলদুয়ার) is an Upazila of Tangail District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Geography

Delduar is located at 24°08′30″N 89°58′00″E / 24.1417°N 89.9667°E / 24.1417; 89.9667 . It has 32696 units of house hold and total area 184.54 km². Delduar is a nice upazila. In this upazila delduar there are 8 unions. They are 1. Sadar union 2. Lauhati Union 3. Dubail Union 4. Pathrail Union 5. - 6. - 7. - 8. -

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Delduar has a population of 175684. Males constitute are 50.46% of the population, and females 49.54%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 91765. Delduar has an average literacy rate of 34% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]
