Tungipara ( _bn. টুঙ্গিপাড়া) is an Upazila of Gopalganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the birthplace of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who is considered as the father of the nation and founder of independent Bangladesh.
