The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) performs sustainment[jargon] and depot maintenance on a number of US Air Force weapon systems. Specifically it supports B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, B-52 Stratofortress, KC-135 Stratotanker, and E-3 Sentry systems. Additionally, the center is responsible for aircraft engines such as the Pratt & Whitney TF33 and General Electric F118. Furthermore, the center conducts repairs on automatic flight control, engine instruments, air driven accessories, hydraulics/pneudraulics/pneumatics, and oxygen and life support systems. The cente employs more than 16,000 people and covers 62 acres (250,000 m2).[1]

Organization

The OC-ALC consists of three wings and 17 directorates.

The 72d Air Base Wing provides installation support for OC-ALC and other tenant units on Tinker Air Force Base.

The 76th Maintenance Wing conducts depot maintenance of aircraft and engine overhauls. Additionally, it conducts maintenance on a number of Air Force and Navy airborne companents.

The 327th Aircraft Sustainment Wing is responsible for life-cycle management B-1 Lancer, B-52 Stratofortress, and KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft.
