CATlink Television (formerly known as CAT Network but still under its corporate name Countryside Associated Television) is the first Filipino cable channel for the countryside. The central studios are located at the basement of FMF Building, Pioneer st, Mandaluyong City.

Stand up and be counted as CAT NETWORK brings you television's newest primetime frontier… Inside the Countryside. With an initial network of over a hundred cable affiliates, CAT NETWORK blazes the trail for local TV programming as it transforms cable service companies to sustainable commercial television platforms. Equipped with brand new digital cameras & editing facilities, CAT NETWORK affiliates combine local media contents with syndicated programming to propagate low-cost TV advertising for domestic brands & establishments. Unified under a single channel, CAT NETWORK utilizes a Program Integration System that ensures the proper incorporation of local ads, news & featured within specified windows of the primetime telecast. Highly trained CAT NETWORK personnel man each station to provide technical & production expertise. Broadcast Traffic Operators are equipped with the mastery of Ad Insertion Procedures that seamlessly combine national ads with locally produced commercials & news contents.

Strategically located in major towns & cities, CAT NETWORK delivers affordable tri-media for special market penetration & unbundling campaigns. A dynamic merging platform created to enhance brand affinity with loyal countryside consumers. Using underutilized cable community channels, CAT8 & its affiliates seeks to empower Countryside Filipinos with locally operated stations that reflects the soul of its own people, its unique culture, and its proud provincial heritage.

On October 31, 2010, it celebrated its 1st year of operations and it was renamed from CAT 8 Network to CATlink Television. All cable companies in Luzon and Visayas are carried through channel 8. its programming is on a transition period.
