The SS Nenana is a river sternwheel paddleship currently preserved and displayed at Pioneer Park in Fairbanks, Alaska. It is the only surviving wooden one of this type. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1989.[2][3] The ship was commissioned by the Alaska Railroad and provided freight transfer from the railroad yards at Nenana to villages along the Yukon and Tanana Rivers.
