Miss Nederland is the annual national beauty pageant of the Netherlands.

History

Formerly known as Miss Universe Nederland, the winner of Miss Nederland represents her country in Miss Universe since 1991, when Miss Holland lost the franchice to send representatives.

Since 2009, the winner enters to Miss Universe and Miss World. Since 2010, the winner enters to Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth. Since 2011, three winners are chosen, to conform to the qualities emphasized by Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth.
