Miss Universe Tanzania is a beauty pageant that was first held in 2007. The winner will go on and represent Tanzania at the Miss Universe and the runner-ups go to Miss Earth and Miss International. Miss Universe Tanzania is not related to the previous Miss Tanzania contest.
The reigning Miss Universe Tanzania is Nelly Kamwelu, who was crowned on May 27, 2011.
