Miss Universe Ethiopia is a beauty pageant to select a delegate from Ethiopia for the Miss Universe pageant.
Ferehiwot Abebe was selected to be the first Miss Universe Ethiopia on April 19, 2004.[1]
The reigning Miss Universe Ethiopia is Dina Fekadu, who was crowned in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, April 14, 2006.[2]

The Ethiopian Life Foundation and Andy Abulime the National Director and CEO is the franchise holder since 2004 when Ethiopia made its first appearance at Miss Universe 2004 in Ecuador.
The Ethiopian Life Foundation remains at the fore front of Beauty pageant development in Ethiopia, and has also since gone on to organise the first ever International beauty pageant in Ethiopia in October 2007 Miss Tourism of the Millennium: http://www.misstourismofthemillennium.com
