History
The airline started operations in August 2006 and is controlled by JMT holding (Teixeira family), the CEO being Pedro Teixeira. Its first destinations were Passo Fundo and Erechim.
After developing services in the states of Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, on April 9 2010, after being granted much sought-for slots at São Paulo - Congonhas Airport, NHT started services to the state of São Paulo.[2]
Presently NHT has an operational partnership with TAM Airlines, providing feeder-services to TAM flights in Porto Alegre and Curitiba-Afonso Pena.[3]
