Publication history
The oread and the snowhair first appeared in the second edition in the Planes of Chaos boxed set (1994).[1]
The oread appeared the third edition Fiend Folio (2003).[2]
Description
Within the context of the system, they are described as fey, similar to nymphs, dryads, and nereids as they are spirits of nature. Oreads are spiritually tied to mountains and have essences of rock on their bodies.
