It is operated by SMRT Corporation.
The station serves the hub for the upcoming and existing Biopolis and Fusionopolis developments and the Singapore campus of INSEAD, the international business school, coming up around the station. The station is located in the basement of phase 1 of the Fusionopolis development.
The Ministry of Manpower said on 30 April 2004 that the collapse at Fusionopolis was not related to the Circle Line construction as the station had not begun construction then.
This station has 2 entry and exit structures and a link to Basement 2 of the Fusionopolis.
The artwork featured in this station under the Art in Transit programme is A Visual Narrative Of Pandemonic Rhythmic Movement by Yek Wong. This piece, split in three parts and stretching from above Platform B doors to the skylight, is an abstraction of colours, shapes and lines. The lines are in fact depictions of MRT commuter traffic from morning to evening (going from left to right).[2]
