The station is integrated with Compass Point Shopping Centre together with the Sengkang Bus Interchange, which is fully air-conditioned, and Compass Heights condominium.

The artwork in this station is "T.R.A.N.S.I.T.I.O.N.S." by Koh Bee Liang.

2007 accident

A 19-year old teen fell on to the track in the path of an oncoming LRT train at the station and was killed on Apr 24 2007 at 5 am. Paramedics pronounced the teen dead at 5.30 am and this is a first LRT accident along the Sengkang LRT.
