The Montclair Historical Society, located in Montclair, New Jersey consists of two historic sites.
The Montclair Historical Society (MHS) was founded in 1965 to save the Israel Crane House, a Federal Revival style home dating from 1796, which was moved from its original location, and is now the Crane House and Museum. This location also includes the Nathaniel Crane and Clark Houses at 108-110 Orange Road.
The second location is the Charles S. Schultz House on North Mountain Avenue, called Evergreens. The Evergreens is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Historical Society was donated this property, which is located at the North Mountain Avenue location.
