Miller — Former settlement — Location in California Coordinates: 38°01′42″N 122°31′23″W / 38.02833°N 122.52306°WCoordinates: 38°01′42″N 122°31′23″W / 38.02833°N 122.52306°W Country United States State California County Marin County Elevation[1] 23 ft (7 m) Miller is a former settlement in Marin County, California.[1] It was located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 6 miles (9.7 km) south-southeast of downtown Novato,[2] at an elevation of 23 feet (7 m).[1] Miller still appeared on maps as of 1914.[1]
The name honors James Miller, who settled on part of Rancho San Pedro, Santa Margarita y Las Gallinas in 1845.[2]
