List of U.S. states by median income

Below are the most current U.S. Census Bureau rankings of U.S. median household income organized by state in order from highest median income to lowest. The rankings reflect the U.S. Census Bureau's Annual Social and Economic Supplement's two- and three-year-average median income of households.[1] The income amount is reported in 2007 U.S. dollars.[2]
