Dudley Hill is a village in the borough of City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.

History

Dudley Hill had its own railway station although it is closed now.

In 1911 Britain's first trolleybus service commenced operation between Laisterdyke and Dudley Hill.^[1][2] The service stopped in 1972,^[1] the last trolleybus service in the UK.

Village information and business

It contains a range of public services, with one primary schools and a High school which is situated on Tong Street, a police station, call centre and a medical centre. A wide range of independently owned shops are situated on a Street with a pub to entertain locals including: supermarkets Iceland, Wynsors World of Shoes, Poundstretcher, Pet City, Superdrug and Gala Bingo, a range of takeaways.
