Odeon Leeds-Bradford
Odeon Leeds-Bradford is a multiplex cinema located between the two cities Bradford and Leeds at the Gallagher Leisure Park, Thornbury Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.
It is operated by Odeon Cinemas, and has 13 screens, the largest having 442 seats down to the smallest that has 126 seats. All screens are equipped with Dolby Digital sound, and the two largest screens also feature DTS digital surround sound. The cinema opened on 6 July 2000, showing Stuart Little.
Neither Leeds or Bradford have Odeon cinemas any more. The Odeon in Bradford closed in 2000 and is currently a condemned building although a concerted effort to save it has been going on. Both of Leeds' Odeons have closed, the Headrow Odeon is now a Primark, while the Merrion Odeon in the Merrion Centre, closed in 1977, however is still largely intact.
From 14 October 2011 the cinema has finished the conversion to digital in all 13 screens using NEC digital cinema projectors, Doremi Servers and Unique System's Rosetta Bridge Theatre Managment System.
7 of the 13 screens are capable of 3D projection using the RealD Cinema system.
