It was built in 1891 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Traina Center for the Arts
The Traina Center for the Arts, which is part of Clark University, is located in former Downing Street School. The university broke ground on renovating the school in 2001; the renovations include a new 194 seat performance center.[2]
