Seven Kings High School is a mixed-sex comprehensive in the London Borough of Redbridge in London, United Kingdom. It is located on Ley Street, Ilford, Essex. It is a specialist school in science and technology as well as being a language college.Fact|date=July 2007 Seven Kings has also pioneered work to include pupils with special needs and disabilities.

ixth form

The school includes a sixth form which offers various A-level courses. The sixth form has a higher intake than the lower school, and is open to pupils from surrounding boroughs, including Newham. They take in over a hundred students from other schools. This too is very successful and many pupils go on to study at prestigious universities such as Oxford University, Cambridge University, Imperial College, UCL and LSE. Seven Kings Sixth Form receives, aside from grammar and independent schools, the best results of any sixth form in the local area, including Redbridge and Newham.

Uniform

Seven Kings employes a strict policy for uniform for lower and upper school it consist of a navy blazer, blue shirt, navy trousers or skirt and a school tie. The Sixth Form has no uniform requirements. Low cut tops, track suits, hoodies, low slung trousers and shorts are, however, banned.

Notable former teachers

Over the years, the school has had a number of distinguished teachers. Peter Hyman, former speechwriter to ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair, as well as former Head of Communications at 10 Downing Street, taught Politics and History at the school during the 2006-2007 school year.
