County Route 161 Location: Lancaster Length: 3.8 mi[1] (6.1 km) County Route 161 is an east–west route in the Town of Lancaster. Route 161 begins at its west end at Transit Rd. (NY 78) and travels through the Town of Lancater, north of the Village of Depew. An important intersection along its route consists of the intersection of Central Ave. (Erie CR 57) and Harris Hill Rd. (Erie CR 276) roughly 1-mile (1.6 km) east of Transit Road. After this intersection, Pleasant View Dr. travels through the less densely populated part of town until it comes to its east end at Pavement Rd. (Erie CR 139).

County Route 165 Location: Cheektowaga Length: 1.6 mi (2.60 km) County Route 165 is an east–west Route in the Town of Cheektowaga named Cayuga Creek Rd. because it roughly parallels Cayuga Creek. Route 165 begins its west end at Harlem Rd. (NY 240) and heads east or actually northeast in overall direction to its east end at William St. (Erie CR 270).

Route 166 begins its west end at an intersection with Sandridge & Wende Roads (Erie CR 113). The route then heads east, and has an intersection with Crittenden Road (CR 1). Route 166 then continues east into Genesee County where the road then becomes Summer Rd and Genesee County CR 21.

County Route 167 Location: Akron Length: 0.9 mi (1.4 km) County Route 167 is a north–south Route in the Village of Akron. Parkview Dr. has its south (or west) end at the intersection of Buell St. (NY 93) and Clarence Center Rd. (Erie CR 163). Parkview Dr. then heads east into Akron Falls Park and curves to the north, over Murder Creek (which runs through the park and has a falls). After crossing the creek, Parkview intersects East Ave. and shortly after comes to its north end at Main St. in the Village of Akron.

County Route 171 Location: Eggertsville–Amherst Length: 1.1 mi[1] (1.8 km) County Route 171 is a north–south route named Sweet Home Road in the Town of Amherst. Route 171 begins at its south end at Eggert Rd. (Erie CR 130) in the community of Eggertsville in Amherst. Route 171 then heads north and intersects Sheridan Dr. (NY 324) a major thoughofare through Buffalo's north suburbs. Route 171 continues north through a residential area and takes northeast direction and then north direction to its north end at Maple Rd. (Erie CR 192). Sweet Home Road continues north of the intersection as NY 952T, an unsigned reference route.
Sweet Home Road is designated as County Route 171 from CR 130 to CR 192, NY 952T from CR 192 to CR 232, and CR 301 from CR 232 to CR 2.

Route 175 begins its west end at an intersection with Blakeley Corners Rd. (Erie CR 85) and Reiter Rd. (Erie CR 383). From there route 175 heads east intersecting local roads, and Strykersville Rd. (78) before traveling a little further east to the routes end at the Wyoming County Line. (Centerline Road continues eastward in Wyoming County).

Route 177's west end (north end) is at Southwestern Blvd. (US 20). From there, route 177 heads southeast, named Taylor Rd., and parallels the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad and passes under the Southern Expressway (US 219). Just after route 177 turns left and heads east on New Taylor Rd., and intersects local roads until coming to an end at N. Buffalo Rd. (NY 240/NY 277) just inside the Village of Orchard Park.

County Route 181 Location: Concord Length: 6.4 mi (10.2998020 km) County Route 181 is a north–south Route in the Town of Concord. Route 181 begins its south end at its intersection with Buffalo Rd. (CR 413) and North St. (CR 412) at the Springville Village line with Concord. Route 181 heads north through the Town of Concord intersecting well-traveled Genesee Rd. (CR 49), and then heads north to its north end at Springville-Boston Rd. (CR 228).

(Erie CR 96), and only travels just under a mile to its north end with Lake Shore Rd. (Erie CR 111/127) (Lake Shore Road is CR 111 from the south, and CR 127 from north).

County Route 186 Location: Amherst Length: 3.5 mi[1] (5.6 km) County Route 186 named New Road; it is a well-traveled north–south route in the northeast part of Amherst. Route 186's south end is at Dodge Rd. (Erie CR 45 & former NY 356). The route travels north from there only intersecting local town roads until it reaches Smith Rd. (CR 297) at a red blinking light four-way stop. Just north of that intersection, New Rd. has an intersection with Millersport Hwy. (NY 263). This is a major north–south highway in the Town of Amherst and is a major route for traffic from Buffalo to Lockport. After intersecting Millersport Highway, Route 186 travels north through a sparsely populated area of Amherst. Just before Route 186's northern terminus it intersects Tonawanda Creek Rd. (CR 2). At the southwest corner of this intersection lies the Amherst Museum. The northern terminus of Route 186 is at the Niagara County Line, which is separated from Erie County by Tonawanda Creek. The roadway continues north as Niagara County Route 130, named East Canal Rd.

County Route 187 Location: Hamburg – West Seneca Length: 2.8 mi (4.506 km) County Route 187 is an east–west Route in the Towns of Hamburg and West Seneca, as well as the southern border of the City of Lackawanna. Route 187 starts its west end at the northern terminus of Erie CR 204, or McKinley Pkwy at the Hamburg-Lackawanna Line. Here route 187 is known as "Willet Road" and travels east towards Abbott Rd. (Erie CR ). After crossing Abbott, Route 187 changes names and becomes "Berg Road." Route 187 then travels into the Town of West Seneca as it travels east and passes under the Southern Expwy. (US 219) on its way to its eastern terminus at Orchard Park Rd. (NY 240) in West Seneca.

County Route 189 Location: Tonawanda–Buffalo Length: 1.3 mi[1] (2.1 km) County Route 189 known as Kenmore Ave. it is a roughly east–west route in the Town of Tonawanda and City of Buffalo. Route 189 begins at an intersection with Grand Island Blvd. (NY 950C & Former routing of NY 324). New York State Route 324, prior to the construction of Interstate 190 followed Grand Island Blvd. north to the South Grand Island Bridge; however it is now routed over the bridge via Interstate 190. At the west end, Kenmore Ave. has a north–south direction, so just south of its west end is an intersection with I-190 and Erie CR 117 (Sawyer Ave.). (Route 189 overlaps NY 324 north of I-190's southbound ramp). Route 189 turns southeast and passes under I-190 as it heads east and intersects Sheridan Dr. (NY 325) (The section of Sheridan not signed NY 324). After Route 189's intersection with Sheridan, it passes General Motors' Powertrain Plant located in Tonawanda, and then has intersections with local Buffalo streets as it enters the city and comes to an end at Erie CR 550 in Buffalo. (Kenmore Avenue continues as Erie CR 550)
Kenmore Avenue is numbered as three separate county routes along its path:
- CR 189 - In Town of Tonawanda from Grand Island Blvd. (NY 950C) to Buffalo City Line and continues as;
- CR 550 - In the City of Buffalo from the Tonawanda town line to Military Rd. (NY 265);
- CR 307 - From Military Rd. (NY 265) in Buffalo to Main St. (NY 5) at Amherst-Buffalo Line.
