It is located across the street from the Parish of the Holy Name of Jesus, which occupies a 1925 church building.
The Holy Name Rectory, also known as the Duncan Phyfe House, at 4 Pulaski, home of furniture designer Duncan Phyfe appears to be included in the listing. It is a distinctive house that became the rectory in 1909.[2]
The 1852 structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
